Color Dipped Pencils

acrylic paint

newspaper

masking tape or blue tape

Step 1 :: Wrap a length of tape around the eraser of the pencil and leave a trail of tape about 12 inches long.  Lay out the newspaper on the counter underneath a cabinet.

Step 2 :: Dip unsharpened pencil in paint and swirl to coat as high on the pencil as you like

Step 3 :: Adhere tape to cabinet and let the paint drip onto newspaper.  Leave until dry. 

Step 4 :: Sharpen pencil.
